The legendary Civic has a rock-solid naturally aspirated engine (the same K20C2 block as the Type R) producing 158 hp with an automatic transmission. Since I bought the car, the only changes I've made have been changing all the fluids to the original ones and changing the tires from summer to winter and back again. I'll be giving away a set of Continental winter tires with the car.
We never smoked in the car, and we never carried pets. I drove carefully, mostly on the Ribnita-Chisinau highway via Orhei. I imported the car from the US for myself—it has a full service history in the US. Locally, it was serviced only at the Honda Club service center in Chisinau.
The oil and all filters were changed twice a year at 6,000-8,000 km. Every two years, I changed the transmission oil with all the original filters and consumables.
Even though the car is a 2016, the engine is old and reliable. It's been installed in half of all Honda cars. Plus, it's American—no emission standards have affected reliability. The car is ideal for both the city (it's small and very nimble, with 158 hp and 1,100 kg, providing plenty of performance) and the highway (due to its coupe-like design, the driving position is very comfortable – the car is long and wide enough for excellent road holding).
Fuel consumption is also very good – in Chisinau, with all the traffic, it consumes no more than 9 liters, in Rybnitsa, no more than 7, and on the highway, it was as low as 4.2 liters (for a 2-liter engine)!!!
I'm selling it because I'm moving to Chisinau and want to trade it in for something with Moldovan license plates.
